Super Mario 64

Running on device · 3–20 FPS by scene

SM64 is running well on the Axims: about 20 FPS in lighter areas and 3–7 FPS in the heavier scenes. Those demanding areas are where the remaining performance work is focused.

Running on VGA & QVGA · combat-audio retest

Fallout runs on both VGA/w and wo 2700g acell and QVGA. The remaining report is a crash after a few fights, associated with combat audio

The port is at v22, with a working campaign path, major renderer/NPC groundwork and a new performance A/B package. The latest v22 frame rate comparison testing

Graphics diagnostic built

I have a small graphics test, but there isn’t a playable build yet. I’m still working out what it would take to bring the game to a Pocket PC.

In-game city confirmed · VGA works on X50v

runs in the ARM build, and the 640×480 VGA version has been confirmed working on the X50v. Current work is speeding up 2700G presentation without changing the picture.

Menu works · map-loading crash

The QVGA launcher reaches the menu, then crashes when loading a map. That’s what I’m working on next.
